Learn every detail you need to know about CBD.
What Is CBD?
Cannabis plants contain 100+ naturally occuring active compounds called cannabinoids. Cannabidol (CBD) is one of these compounds found in all cannabis plants. CBD activates the CB1 and CB2 receptors found in the brain to bring nutrition to the often neglected endocannabinoid system
All humans have an ECS. The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a biological system composed of endocannabinoids that are neurotransmitters that bind the cannabinoid receptors in the mammalian brain and body.
CB1 receptors are primarily located on the nerve cells in the brain, spinal chord and central nervous system.
CB2 receptors are mainly found on cells in the immune system and its associate structures.
Cannabis plants have their own cannabinoids that are natually occurring. CBD and THC are just two of the 100 or so.
The molecules found in the cannabis plants aid in the human body’s endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for many vital function
The Difference Between
THC & CBD
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most well known cannabinoid and is associated with marijuana’s psychoactive properties.
Unlike THC, CBD does not cause the “high” effect and can offer relief and benefits without the disconcerting feelings of lethargy and dysphoria.

Recommended Dosage for CBD Products
CBD affects everyone differently, so it is important to customise the dosage to an individuals needs. It is recommended an individual starts with a small dosage and then slightly increase as necessary to achieve the desired result
We recommend start low, go slow. Do not exceed the recommended dosage of 200mg per day.
Below is a breakdown of how much CBD is in each strength of CBD tincture (one full dropper is approximately 1ml). Drop sizes can vary in size but 1ml is about 10 drops.
• 250mg tincture has approximately 25mg of CBD per 1ml
• 500mg tincture has approximately 50mg of CBD per 1ml
It is likely that you will need to experiment a little bit to find the dosage that works best for you.
